Aging Is a Life Process

Aging is a life process. It is the process of growing old; the manifestation of traits associated with old age. Aging as a process is related to psychosocial stress and health, however social change, food habits, lifestyle also affect the aging process.

Some of the common traits/symptoms of aging are: Grey hair, Wrinkles, Increase in weight, Decrease in muscle mass, Shrinking of organs, Less energy and sexual dysfunction, and Memory loss.

esearch shows that aging can be delayed but is not irreversible. Significant factors can increase longevity and delay the aging process. Tibetan Medical practitioners advice the following factors:

Nutrition - Healthy food, dietary supplements, and drinking plenty of water.
Exercise - Physical activity like walking, jogging, swimming, etc.
Quit smoking - Quit smoking and intake of tobacco.
Less alcohol intake - Reducing the intake of alcohol to one glass per day.
Stress reduction - Peaceful and less stressful lifestyle.
Satisfying relationships - Support and motivation of others.
Active mind - Keeping the mind occupied.

HerboTibet.com sells herbal supplements from Tibet to help the aging process. According to Tibetan Medical Practice and Philosophy, at an immediate level, a disorder or health problem is primarily caused by improper diet and or lifestyle. This is especially true for aging traits, and thus treatment is not only medicinal but also linked to diet and lifestyle.
