Blog to provide useful information to companies who sell to human resource (HR) executives

 Fisher Vista, a marketing services firm in the human capital industry, has announced the launch of a new Blog, providing useful information to help HR service providers develop better marketing and PR strategies.

Published weekly, and available at http://hrmarketer.blogspot.com, HR Marketer's Blog will provide useful information on:

- MAKING SENSE OF THE HUMAN CAPITAL INDUSTRY: The first step in developing effective marketing and PR campaigns in the human capital industry is understanding the industry. The HR Marketer blog will provide a framework to help define the industry, show how it is organized, who the buyers are, what their purchasing drivers are, and more.    

- MEDIA RELATIONS: The key to successful public relations is building strong relationships with influential journalists. However, most vendors spend too little time building these relationships. The HR Marketer blog will provide useful tips on building and maintaining effective media relationships, including periodic guest commentary from key industry journalists and analysts to help vendors better understand their "other" customers.

- MARKETING: At a minimum, vendors should include five key elements to their ongoing marketing campaigns. These include distributing regular press releases, exhibiting at and attending industry trade shows, speaking at key industry events, a steady stream of consistent direct marketing and advertising, and placing byline articles in industry trade publications. The HR Marketer blog will share useful ideas and tips on what's working and what's not with respect to marketing and PR in the human capital industry. - TRENDS AND STATISTICS: What motivates HR executives to make purchasing decisions? Where do journalists get their sources for stories they are working on? What are the hot topics in the HR industry? The HR Marketer blog will share useful information and statistics relevant to HR marketing on a regular basis.
