Workplace Options Gets Back to Work/Life Basics by Launching Advantage Fundamentals

Workplace Options, the leading provider of work/life programs to corporate America through partnerships with employee assistance (EAP) companies, today announced the launch of Advantage Fundamentals, an economical work/life resource and referral program for employers and EAPs.

When work/life employee benefits first debuted in the mid 1980’s, they consisted mainly of child and elder care support programs. Since then the trend has been to add service categories – from pet care to concierge - in an effort to address the needs of employees at different lifecycles. Unfortunately, as work/life programs have expanded so has their price tag, making it difficult for many employers to afford work/life benefits.

To address growing employer demand for affordable work/life services, Workplace Options has created Advantage Fundamentals, an entry level work/life resource and referral program that gives employees access to work/life experts, a customized list of local providers, a comprehensive web site and a wealth of printed and online educational resources. Advantage Fundamentals differs from WPO’s more comprehensive work/life products by delivering a tailored listing of potential providers to the employee, rather than specific confirmed vacancies.

Advantage Fundamentals is also well-suited for internal corporate EAPs which represent 12% of all large employer EAP programs.
