Nauvalis™ Announces Purchase of D & H Consulting Group; New Company Will Expand Product Offering
Torrey Barnhouse, Chief Visionary Officer of Nauvalis Healthcare Solutions announced recently the acquisition of the D & H Consulting Group located in Mountain View, AR. D & H focused on HIM consulting and those capabilities will be added to Nauvalis’ Healthcare Consulting Services. Both principals of D & H, Corlene Hogg and Donna Didier, will remain with Nauvalis as Consulting Directors.
“The services that D & H provided blend perfectly with the Nauvalis’ HIM-oriented product line,” Mr. Barnhouse said. “We were very fortunate to retain the two founders and their staff who have many years experience in HIM consulting,” Mr. Barnhouse added.
According to Keith Olenik, Senior Vice President of Nauvalis Consulting Services, the company’s expertise now covers the entire gamut of services provided by the HIM department. “Our field-tested consultants are experienced in coding, abstracting, HIM management, compliance, education, regulatory requirements, financial services, and cancer registry. We have successfully completed numerous engagements in all of these areas,” Mr. Olenik commented.
Nauvalis consulting clients will benefit from the new services by obtaining accurate and timely reimbursements, experiencing fewer denials, improved cash flow, help with JCAHO preparations, improved regulatory compliance, enhanced revenue cycle, a clean MPI, and the availability of comprehensive cancer data.
