Return To Work America Launches Innovative Video Based RTW Program

The opening of Return To Work America was announced today at the RIMS 2004 Conference and Exhibition in San Diego, CA by it’s parent company, WorkersCompensation.com, LLC. RTW America will offer video based job analysis, as well as other risk management oriented video services, including a Generic Jobs Video Library, and ADA Compliance Protection Services.

Based on the knowledge that “written job descriptions don’t tell the whole story”, RTW America will combine the ability and knowledge of highly trained and qualified vocational experts, with cutting edge streaming video technologies to “bridge the gap” between an injured workers’ functional abilities and available positions. With this service, Doctors, Judges and Attorneys can see for themselves what the physical aspects of the job are. The videos will be made available in a password protected internet based account available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

President for RTW America is Dr. Anita Rothard, a Vocational Expert with over 25 years experience in the vocational rehabilitation industry. Dr. Rothard was a pioneer in the use of video in her field, and is excited about the opportunities presented by RTW America. Dr. Rothard says, “Why should employers pay permanent total claims when jobs exist that the injured worker can do?” Dr. Rothard believes that the time has come for employers to actively take control of their workers’ compensation costs. “They can do this by providing a real life video presentation of what job duties are so doctors and judges can make informed decisions. This internet based video evidence can be presented in court. The Video makes your case… period!”

In another first, Return To Work America will offer through franchise arrangements an opportunity for Vocational Counselors and Experts to bring their services to a new awareness level for those who were previously unaware that such services existed, as well as the unique ability a Vocational Counselor brings in presenting the facts of the case. “RTW America will bring a standardized marketing and service support to an industry where it has largely been unavailable”, says Robert Wilson, President/COO of WorkersCompensation.com, LLC. “With Dr. Rothard’s leadership and the power of WorkersCompensation.com behind it, Return To Work America offers an outstanding value to the qualified Vocational Counselor franchisee”.
