In today’s competitive athletic climate young athletes are continuously looking for an edge in competition. “Today’s young athletes are competing in multiple sports and more games than ever before. We started this business to help these athletes properly prepare for their sports and help keep them off the injured list,” said Mark Van Leuven, PT, CSCS, and co-founder.
Athletic Dynamics programs are based on sport specific functional training. The programs are designed to train the specific movements that each sport demands. The idea is to emulate the game situation and better prepare the body for these actions. “This training is designed for the body to increase the efficiency, power, and speed of these movements,” said Mr. Van Leuven.
The motivation to start this business was to give local athletes the opportunity to have the same advantages as professional athletes. “Unfortunately, most athletes are not given access to leading edge information and training techniques unless they make it to the professional level. We are on a quest to change that and make these advantages available to every athlete,” said Peter Dean, co-founder of Athletic Dynamics.
Athletic Dynamics offers a wide range of sport specific strength programs for all levels of athletes from the little leaguer to the professional athlete. Their customers include high schools, private clubs, local fitness facilities, colleges, universities, and elite/professional athletes.
