297 Newbury Street Yoga Studio

According to Claudette Moussa owner of Dancing Shiva the addition of teachers, Alyssa, Peter, Meg and Betsy will add a new variety of day and evening classes.

Dancing Shiva Yoga is proud to welcome it's new teachers to the back bay studio. These teachers will bring a variety of styles and classes to our studio said Claudette Moussa owner of Dancing Shiva Yoga.

Alyssa Mayer is trained in classical Hatha yoga and enjoys teaching both vigorous vinyasa classes as well as gentle, meditative classes. Alyssa especially love teaching beginners and those who might not think yoga is for them due to physical ability.

Meg Shneck received yoga certification at Integral Yoga Institute of New York City in December 2003. Meg chose Integral yoga because of the meditative style as well as the design of the class. Meg began practicing under a Kripalu instructor which led her to Kripalu Institute where she spent many winters in the mountains of the Berkshires. After studying at Kripalu Meg moved on to an ashtanga-vinyasa style of yoga.
    
Betsh Helfaer have taught, and continue to teach yoga and Pilates
her specialties are restorative, pre-natal and mom/baby yoga. Betsy have earned a Masters Degree in Education from Harvard and a teaching certificate from Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. She has been a practitioner of yoga since 1978.

Peter crowley is an architect with a love for yoga. Peter recently relocated back to boston from San francisco where he studied ashtanga yoga. Peter teaches a mixed levels flow based on the teachings of larry schultz as well as traditional primary series.

Dancing Shiva Yoga Studio is located in the heart of Boston's Back Bay on 297 Newbury Street. The studio is sapcious and inviting. A variety of classes are offered daily. for a full listing please log on to
