Stephanie D. Briscoe is an Activist, Breast Cancer Survivor and Mother of two boys, Jonathan and Julian. Her first hand knowledge of breast cancer makes Silent Alarm a more effective tool in the effort to deliver education to women and men between the ages of 20 and 40. Stephanie’s motivation is driven by sheer commitment and compassion, demonstrating the best qualities of leadership and public service.
Stephanie shares, “I founded Silent Alarm Breast Cancer Awareness Group, Inc. as a vehicle to reach women and men from all walks of life, to educate them about the affects and seriousness of this deadly disease. Our goal is to stress the importance of early detection which is accomplished by monthly self examinations and yearly mammograms”.

»Saturday, September 20, 2003, Stephanie D. Briscoe shared her story at the Sisters by Choice “An Evening with Patti LaBelle” event at the Georgia World Congress Center. She performed a solo before addressing 3000+ guests and received a standing ovation. This year’s special guests included, Actors Chris Tucker, Angela Bassett and Ambassador Andrew Young.
»Saturday, October 25, 2003, Silent Alarm Breast Cancer Awareness Group, Inc. was featured at the “Corvettes Against Breast Cancer Ride” at Atlanta’s Turner Field. This event was hosted by Vette Sette Atlanta, Inc. and MTI Racing.
