Free bi-monthly journal provides accurate and straightforward fitness training information in a versatile online format.
Since 1978, the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) has provided scientifically based publications to its members that examine the purpose behind strength and conditioning concepts. Now, it provides a journal with the same research-based information to non-members.
The NSCA is pleased to provide weekend warriors and the general fitness-minded with accurate and straightforward fitness information. The NSCA’s Performance Training Journal, available free by subscription, gives credible advice and useful training information in a versatile online format.
“We realize the journals our members receive may be too scientific for the general public, and many of the newsstand magazines available present misleading or outdated information,” stated Robert Jursnick, NSCA Executive Director. “We want everyone to receive the latest and most accurate fitness information available.”
The NSCA’s Performance Training Journal is published six-times per year—currently in its third year. Each issue offers sample programs, exercise tips, psychological aspects, and relevant conditioning techniques that will benefit anyone interested in general strength and conditioning training. All material in this publication is copyrighted by the NSCA; however, permission is granted for free redistribution of each issue or article in its entirety. Archive issues are also available to research.
To receive your free subscription, visit the NSCA website at www.nsca-lift.org/perform. Subscriptions continue every other month with informative strength and conditioning topics based on sound research and practical application one expects from the NSCA. During 2004, the journal will focus on plyometrics, soccer, strength fundamentals, nutrition, and core training.
