TAGteach International Announces Seminar for Coaches and Teachers

TAGteach is teaching with acoustical guidance, and is used for fast-track learning in athletes and students. The teacher or coach tags correct performance of skill elements with a click sound. The students brain does not have to process corrections, emotions or translations while the body is trying to perform complicated movements. The TAG trained athlete learns to react to this "data" with lightning fast speed while building muscle memory and confidence. Students and teachers in any discipline can benefit from this no-correction method of teaching.

TAGteach has been used in many disciplines, including artistic gymnastics, Special Olympic rhythmic gymnastics, dance, soccer, volleyball, martial arts, speech pathology and kindergarten classes. Tagging has taught my students to think for themselves, says Amy Roberts who teaches hearing-impaired kindergarten students.

TAGteach certification will be of interest to teachers and coaches who would like to move beyond correction-based teaching and who would like to demonstrate their commitment to the emotional well-being of students. The 2 ˝ -day seminar will bring together coaches and teachers from many disciplines to learn from the founders of TAGteach in historic Marblehead MA on July 16-18, 2004.
