In order to keep up with the phenomenal growth of the Company, McClung asked Debra to return to Oklahoma as a consultant in 2002, to help with organization and strategic planning. In early 2003 she moved to Edmond, Oklahoma with her husband and three children.
Mr. McClung, 69, will continue as Chairman of the Board and lend the company his years of accumulated wisdom as he does some writing and public speaking. Blue Stuff, Inc. is a developer and distributor of over the counter pain relief, health and wellness products and is best known for their SuperBlue product.
The newly installed president, Ms. Murray, aims to carry on the legacy that her father has established. Says Murray, "Our goal is to remain a leader in developing and distributing credible products and services that improve our customers' quality of life. We have a very talented management team, experienced staff, excellent products, and one of the fastest growing brand names on the market."
Ms. Murray brings a history of business leadership and customer relations to the position. She was raised in Lawton, Okalhoma, where she attended Cameron University as a Business major and later was a professional in new home construction and real estate development. She did consulting and sales for Suburban American Homes in Dallas, Texas for two years and moved to Northern Virginia in 1987. Ms. Murray was employed by Carrhomes, Inc., the oldest homebuilder in the country, for 12 years. She then did consulting for Courtland Homes, a premier developer and builder in Northern Virginia for two years.
