MC Strategies and TigerSix Form Partnership to Provide Anti-terrorism Education for the Healthcare Industry

MC Strategies, Inc. through a strategic partnership with TigerSix, Inc. is offering new e-learning courseware that will educate healthcare professionals on ways to reduce the opportunities for terrorism and how to make the workplace safer for employees, patients and visitors. The courses are titled “Terrorist Threat Conditions: How to Respond,” “Reducing the Opportunity for Terrorism,” “Preparation is Everything,” and “Weapons of Mass Destruction.”

All courseware was developed by a group of professionals who have experience in combating terrorism and acts of violence around the world. The new courses will help hospitals meet JCAHO Emergency Management requirements. “Combating Terrorism in Healthcare” provides training in three core areas: Preparation, Response and Vulnerability Assessment(s).

The e-learning courses are delivered by MC Strategies’ WebInservice Knowledge Deployment System® (KDS), the most comprehensive learning management system in the healthcare industry.

“We are very pleased with this strategic partnership,” said Michael “Moose” Moore, CEO and President of TigerSix, Inc. MC Strategies has the healthcare industry’s best Web-based system for delivering training, and combined with our skill, knowledge and experience in combating terrorism, we are able to offer a unique solution to healthcare providers,” Mr. Moore continued.

“MC Strategies is continually developing new coursesware and is partnering with companies who can offer our clients the training they need to survive in the rapidly evolving healthcare environment,” said Maribel Rodriguez-Brogden, Manager of Content Acquisition and Project Management at MC Strategies, Inc. This partnership allows us to provide training that is critical in the post 9/11 world,” Ms. Rodriguez-Brogden added.
