Orthopedic Practice Adds Senior Administrator

Jill Berger-Fiffy, a seasoned medical practice executive and resident of Ipswich, Massachusetts, has joined Orthopedic Surgery, Inc. in Melrose. Berger-Fiffy will serve the burgeoning medical group in the newly created position of Practice Administrator.

Previously, Berger-Fiffy was a practice administrator at Northeast Health System, a network of healthcare organizations north of Boston that includes Beverly, Addison Gilbert and BayRidge hospitals. She later became Director of Geriatric Services for the network.

Berger-Fiffy holds a master's degree in health care administration from Suffolk University, and is certified by the American College of Medical Practice Executives.

"Jill's substantial experience in the areas of strategic planning, quality improvement, regulatory compliance and customer service will help us take our practice to new levels of quality and efficiency," said Denis P. A. Byrne, M.D., president of OSI. "We are excited to have her on our team."

Founded in 1969, OSI provides a range of non-surgical and surgical treatments in the areas of sports medicine, joint repair and replacement, arthritis related conditions and major trauma care. The practice serves patients in numerous North Shore communities from offices in Melrose, Medford, Wakefield and Winchester.
