Anna Gianulias, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, offers psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Issues treated include: Relationship and communication difficulties, depression and anxiety, parenting, career and employment issues, recovery from trauma and childhood abuse, divorce, and many other issues. Anna has been providing counseling and psychotherapy for the Oakland and East Bay Area communities for over ten years. Her therapeutic approach utilizes healing methods from various theoretical orientations, including: Transpersonal, Experiential, Cognitive-Behavioral, and Psychodynamic, as well as Art, Play, and Sandplay therapy. Anna holds a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology, with a Specialization in Transpersonal Psychology, from the John F. Kennedy University Graduate School of Holistic Studies. She also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Psychology, from San Francisco State University. Anna has worked in various clinical and therapeutic settings, including John F. Kennedy University's Center for Holistic Counseling, Contra Costa Alternative School, Alameda County's Parental Stress Service, Inc., and Earth Circles Counseling Center. Anna has been a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists since 1997.
