Health Site Guide Launches Six “Pre-Searched” Mini-Sites on Autism, Breast Cancer, Colon Cancer

Health Site Guide, the “pre-searched” search engine for health, has launched six health-specific sites. These mini-sites can be accessed from the home page of http://www.healthsiteguide.com under Health Spotlights. They include Autism, Breast Cancer, Colon Cancer Screening, Diabetes, Heart Disease and Prostate Cancer.

“We are calling them mini-sites because visitors can access direct links to heath information websites, videos, animations, medical doctor answers, organizations, support groups and more all on one page, according to their health concern,” states Bob Lipp, co-creator of Health Site Guide. “For example, click on the Heart Disease link, and you can view an animation of what causes heart attacks, view videos on various procedures, access organizations and associations, plus be linked directly to the heart disease page on recognized websites. All of our links have been pre-searched to assure quality results.”

Since its launch, less than two months ago, Health Site Guide has attracted a growing number of visitors who want information that is easy-to-access and thorough. The free search engine also provides Today’s Health News by topic and free eBooks to members who sign up by providing only a nickname and a password…no personal information is ever required to use
http://www.healthsiteguide.com.

“Health Site Guide is designed to be very user-friendly, and recognizes that many people who go online for healthcare information, do so with a degree of curiosity and anxiety,” adds Lipp. “People who search for more information on a medical condition or wake up one morning with the need to go online and check into a possible health concern don’t want to analyze the results of their search. They simply want quality information and they want it now.”

Health Site Guide selected their initial six Health Spotlight mini-sites based on current health concerns. Autism, for example is growing at an alarming rate, and concerned parents want to know why. Heart Disease remains the number one killer, while Breast, Colon and Prostate Cancer are among the leading concerns of people in a cancer-conscious world. Concerns over Diabetes are evident, since it is believed the disease has affected over 20 million Americans.

“We believe that people who search for diabetes information, for example, want one place where they can go to get as much information as possible, including videos, support groups, organizations, and more,” states Lipp. “The staff at Health Site Guide has pre-searched these links in order to make them available on one page, so those who have concerns about diabetes don’t have to spend their time searching for answers.”

What started as a way to access relevant healthcare information without all the searching has become, in its second month, an ideal resource for the growing number of people who search the web for health concerns. Direct, pre-searched links have been created for fast, easy access to hundreds of healthcare concerns. In addition, users can click on graphics on the Health Site Guide home page to access medical encyclopedias, drug information, and much more

Health Site Guide encourages businesses, universities and health-related organizations to link to our search engine (“Link To Us” information appears on the home page of Health Site Guide), so their viewers can take full advantage of the enormous amount of information available. Links are provided as pop-ups, so viewers can access Health Site Guide without leaving their current site.
