Delaware to Host First-of-its-Kind Alternative Medicine Conference; Event is Now Being Covered

The keynote speaker is nationally known author and lecturer Burton Goldberg, the “Voice of Alternative Medicine.” Also speaking are Dr. Robert Abel, ophthalmologist; Dr. Frank Noonan, osteopath practicing Natural HRT and IPT; Dr. David Jezyk, integrative physician; Dr. Gregory Serge, chiropractor; Dr. Lewis Korb, UBI physician; Dr. S. W. Bogoch, AMAS test provider; Alan Tillotson, registered herbalist; and Polly Grimaldi, nutritionist.

Until now very few alternative medicine providers have taken residence in Delaware forcing health care dollars to be spent in surrounding states. Practitioners are so rare that patients must often drive great distances if they want to pursue an alternative therapy and sometimes the desired treatment is simply not offered anywhere within a reasonable driving range.

The United States is the only country in the world where alternative medicine is routinely prohibited from practice. In Europe, Asia, and South America, this type of healthcare is routine. As a result, other countries are making tremendous advances in curing heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and many other conditions that still seem to be death sentences here in the United States.

“We need to know more about valid health care options,” says Marie McCaffrey, former teacher and president of The Delaware Conference – the main contributor to the event. “Ignorance is killing people and the only way to prevent it is to educate the public and empower people with the information they need to make positive health choices. That’s what The Delaware Conference is all about and I’m happy to sponsor what could potentially be a life-saving event.”

Hosting this full-day Conference is Altmedangel.com, a non-profit corporation. There is an early bird special $10 discount if registration is postmarked by March 1. Registration Forms can be printed from the web sites or by calling 302-738-3304. Exhibitors and volunteers are also being sought.
