Meals Matter is a non-commercial web site developed and supported by the Dairy Council of California, a not-for-profit organization funded by California dairy processors and producers.
Meals Matter strives to assist the family meal preparer in overseeing the family's meal and snack choices by making informed decisions that
lead to optimal health.
The site's nutrition article content is managed by registered dietitians who are skilled in educating and creating practical and nutritionally accurate tools, customizable to a family's unique needs and interests.
Cylogy provided complete business solution services to the Dairy Council, including full solution architecture, object-oriented
software design, specifications, implementation, deployment, and support.
The launch of the Meals Matter web site includes such features as: personal food profiles, meal planning tools, personals cookbooks, personal nutrition planner, women's fitness planner, personal pantry, shopping lists, and a recipe database with over 3,400 entries.
Cylogy's implementation of this web solution involved the integration and deployment of technologies such as Microsoft's ASP.NET/C# programming language, XML, and the Microsoft SQL Server.
