Revolutionary Massage Table Combines Healing Benefits of Heat and Massage for Pain Management

It is a well known fact that massage and heat can be very useful for pain management, whether for relief of chronic pain or occasional sore muscles. Michael Friedman, designer and manufacturer of Master massage tables at MHP International, knew about these benefits when he designed the Coronado Therma-Top. It is the first table ever that has a built in heating device to warm the entire table. It is common practice for massage therapists to combine massage and heat to affect greater pain relief. Thus, many massage therapists use heated pads under the linens on their massage tables to provide a constant source of warmth to soothe their patients pains.

Karen Chu of the Life of Life Healing Spa in Hong Kong, China, says the idea of heat as a healing treatment is not new either to Chinese or Western medicine. Chu runs a salon where she uses actual fire to treat her patients with 100% positive results. Mr. Friedman says he thought of the idea of a table that would not need a separate warming device. It came to me in a sudden flash of logic while pondering the nature of what we do, says Friedman. We stayed mum until our patent issued and now we are the only source for a product of this kind. This revolutionary product combines the affects of heat and massage without the need for a separate heating pad or table warmer.
