Common Snowboard Injury Can be Reduced

A new snowboard glove and wrist guard have been shown in studies to reduce the most common snowboarding injury on the slopes.

Snowboard Injury Facts:
*Last season, 100,000 wrist fractures occurred to snowboarders worldwide.
*Beginners have a five times higher chance of breaking a wrist than more experienced riders do.
*Conventional wrist guards may actually increase the chance of a serious fracture.

Conceived by snowboard and ski trauma physician Marc-Hervé Binet in France, the Flexmeter Flexible Wrist Guards and Flexible Snowboard Gloves were created by a team of physicians, engineers, and trauma specialists. Studies over three seasons showed a 67% reduction in wrist fractures using the Flexmeter Flexible Wrist Guard, and an 85% reduction using the Flexmeter Flexible Snowboard Gloves.

Flexmeter Flexible Snowboard Wrist Guards and Gloves were awarded the respected BrandNew Award at Munich's ISPO sporting goods trade show in 2003.
