Sony PVM20L2MD Medical Monitors Still Available from Scientific Vision Systems

Carlsbad, CA April 21, 2005 -- Scientific Vision Systems (SVS), one of the leading distributors of medical and professional video equipment, today notified medical systems manufacturers and research organizations that they still have inventories of the industry standard medical monitor, the SONY PVM20L2MD. The monitor has found wide application in virtually every medical, scientific and research application that requires a monitor.

According to Dick Wheeler, President of SVS, The PVM20L2MD has literally achieved the status of the gold standard of the industry. All of the monitors are brand new, in the box, 20-inch monitors. The PVM20L2MD features video expansion slots for SDI or DV with optional cards, automatically detects either PAL or NTSC signals, and provides a high resolution picture of more than 600 TV lines.
