PA State Nurses Association Launches Nursingce.org to Support Its Newly Approved Status

March 17, 2005 -- The Pennsylvania State Nurses Association has been granted provider and approver status by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE), allowing the Association to provide Pennsylvania school nurses credit for ANCC approved Act 48 courses taken since November 10, 2004.

Nursingce.com website is designed to offer school nurses a quick, easy and efficient way to enter and confirm receipt of their recent PA State Nurses Association approved Act 48 credits.

Nurses may submit their Act 48 credits by submitting their completed information by
-    completing the online form located on www.nursingce.org;
-    completing the paper form (available at www.nursingce.org) and mailing or faxing the completed form to the PA State Nurses Association; or
-    calling 888-707-7762 X 213 to have a form mailed or faxed to them.

Once the appropriate forms are filed, nurses simply mail their continuing education certificate with completed hours to the Association (2578 Interstate Drive, Suite 101, Harrisburg, PA 17110) for verification.

Registered Nurses bellowing to the PA State Nurses Association receive this service at not cost. Nurses seeking information on PA Nurses membership services and dues may go to www.panurses.org.

In addition to offering new Act 48 services, www.nursingce.org also offers immediate access to downloadable applications and express ANCC credit approval for providers and educators.
