1 800 BEST DDS Cosmetic Dentistry Network introduces Intense Whitening Toothpaste

January 10, 2005 -- “1 800 BEST DDS Intense Whitening toothpaste is the best whitening toothpaste that your money can buy” might be an empty promise if it wasn’t created, and backed, by a nationwide network of dentists. “When you call the toll free number on most consumer goods packaging you get routed to a call center, said Dr Sandhu, CEO of Sandhu & Company, the Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, based distributor of 1 800 BEST DDS toothpaste. Here, however, the toothpaste -1 800 BEST DDS – is also the telephone number of a national network of dentists, so that when you call 1 800 BEST DDS you get routed to the office of the closest member in the dental network and these dentists can answer any questions about our products. “These are the dentists that created our toothpaste and stand behind the product and enable us to make a unique offer,” continued Dr Sandhu, “If 1 800 BEST DDS Intense Whitening Toothpaste doesn’t achieve the results that you want we will give you a $50 gift certificate towards in-office whitening with any of our nationwide network of dentists!”

Previously only available in Duane Reade drugstores in the New York Tri-State area the retail launch of 1 800 BEST DDS toothpaste and mouthwash in Happy Harry’s marks the retail introduction in Delaware of the 1 800 BEST DDS line of products and the expansion of the product line to include mouthwash.

“Our dentists felt it was important to introduce the mouthwash as rapidly as possible. Although less than 20% of consumers use mouthwash it has been shown to significantly reduce the bacteria that are trapped between the teeth and are the primary source of gingivitis and some studies even indicate that regular use of mouthwash can be as beneficial as flossing” explained Dr Sandhu. “We are also working on sensitivity toothpaste and mouthwash as well as denture adhesive which will be available to retailers in April and these will all be marketed under the tag-line “1 800 BEST DDS – Real products from Real Dentists”

“We are fortunate in having a unique “brains trust” in our nationwide network of dentists whose input into creating these products is invaluable” said Dr Sandhu, “and it also provides consumers the confidence that there are real local professionals who stand behind these products which really differentiates our products from those of any other oral healthcare manufacturer”. Retailers are finding that this differentiation is attractive to consumers as well as the high quality packaging associated with the products provides a new brand in the oral healthcare aisle which is truly distinctive and engenders high sales.
