Golf Tournament Benefits Alzheimer's Prevention Research

A joint announcement was made today from the Alzheimer's Prevention Foundation International (APFI) and the Marana Rotary Club regarding the Marana Rotary Club's 5th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on June 12th.

This year, funds from the annual charity golf tournament will benefit the Alzheimer's prevention research at APFI and their fight against this terrible mind-robbing disease. Some of the funds raised will also be used towards the International Rotary Centennial Celebration Project in Marana.

About the Golf Tournament:
The 5th Annual Charity Golf Tournament is Marana Rotary Club's major fundraiser and sponsors are needed as well as golfers. Sponsorships range from $100 to $3,000.

The tournament will be held on June 12, 2004 at the Pines at Marana (former Links at Continental Ranch). Registration is at 6:30 am and shotgun start is at 7:00 am. It will be a 'best ball' or 'scramble' and the fee to play is $380 per foursome or $100 per individual golfer. Fee includes a continental breakfast and lunch on the day of the event, a grab bag, cart, green fees, as well as numerous awards and prizes. Remember, all proceeds go to a wonderful cause!

You can register online at http://playthepines.com/Pines/TournamentInfo.asp
