Former Couch Potato Turned Amateur Bodybuilder, Personal Trainer, and Specialist in Performance Nutrition Reveals How to Take Control to Master a Healthy Lifestyle in Affiliate-Marketed eBook "Become the Journey"

It's time to make a choice. The biggest mistake many people make is starting a fat-loss program without truly making a decision. Many want to get rid of the extra weight, but have not stopped to truly think about why. It may seem trivial, but having a deep, meaningful reason is critical to success. It is one thing to throw the scale into the corner and bust down the gym door with a barbaric yell and start smashing iron around. But physique transformation doesn't happen overnight - it takes time. Years were spent filling those sacks of adipose tissue (fat cells) with extra fat calories, and they cannot empty their precious load overnight. Eventually, most people lose that initial high to have reality come crashing down in its entire splendor.

"Become the Journey: A Transformation Guide" was written for those people who struggle with the decision. The book goes beyond simple calories and exercises to explore the personal development aspect of healthy living. The author, Jeremy Likness, lost 65 pounds of fat of his own, coached his wife to lose over 40 pounds, and has been a health coach for nearly four years after placing as a Top 2000 Finisher in a major physique transformation competition that an estimated 750,000 people entered.

The book contains over thirty chapters of information. There are well over 300 pages with over 98,000 words. In Part I, "Becoming the Journey," you'll learn about choices, vision, the journey itself, fear, how to set goals, the "I can, I can't syndrome," how to tap into your network, what to do when the going gets tough, the five stages of transformation, how to measure your success, how to manage stress, what to expect as you reach your goals, and how to achieve balance (that means not becoming a fitness addict!).

In Part II, "Trail Mix" you'll learn about water, carbohydrates, the glycemic index, glycemic load, the insulin index, the satiety index, simple and complex carbohydrates, sugars, protein, dairy, cholesterol, amino acids, fats, salt, how to read labels, food combining, planning your nutrition, zigzagging calories, sports nutrition, dealing with celebrations and events, addictions like coffee and alcohol, and supplementation.

In the final section, "Exercise Stuff" Jeremy teaches you how to move, all about your heart, maxims of cardio exercise, how to lift your first weight, what sets and reps are, the big three (squat, bench press, and dead-lift), other compound movements, functional training, arms and other auxiliary body parts, understanding recovery, advanced techniques, and his unique "applied chaos" theory of training.
